There HAS to be a rescue out there for this sweet, dainty, loving little dog. PLEASE don't let her be killed!! Share like crazy - she deserves so much better than what she has had so far! She needs a loving home with people who care!

This page is for the purpose of helping reunite missing pets with their people, and for rescue groups to pull from our facility. We do NOT do adoptions. Adoption inquiries MUST be directed to Animal Control (above). If you are a rescue and wish to pull this animal: Please email us at pleaseadoptme2@hotmail.com or contact us here (details in our notes, above on the page. Do not reply on a photo message to ensure your tag, you must message one of us to be sure we’ve seen your interest!) If you contact the shelter directly without contacting us there is a risk the animal may not make it out of the shelter alive as we only have 5 days to find a foster for a tagged animals before the tag expires.
The shelter requires a Federal 501(c)(3) to pull, there is no pull fee from the shelter.
Our volunteers will have the animal taken to the vet for rabies vaccination and health certificate prior to out of state transport, all dogs receive a 5 way vax on intake (a donation to Friends of Altus PAWS of $60 to cover this would be appreciated but is not required)
Paws on Wheels will provide transport within our existing routes (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.418231808265722.99445.215891751833063&type=3) – the shelter has NOTHING to do with transport, and cannot answer transport questions.
