Ramon was hit by a car and his owner could not afford the medical care he needed so instead she dropped him off at the AC shelter. As she was leaving desipte his life threatening injuries he tried to drag himself after her when she left. A good samaritan took him directly to the vet because she believed he deserved a chance at life. Despite has very serious injuries (herniated thorax, broken ribs and fluid in his abdomen) and no one believing he would survive he made it through surgery. On Oct. 13 he was released from the hospital into foster care. The doctor said his insides were pretty scrambeled up (things pushed out of place) but they repaired what they could and it was up to his body to heal the rest. And heal he did. Now he needs to find a rescue that will help him on his next journey. Ramon would make a great member of someone's family as was apparent on the day he was dumped at the AC shelter. He is loyal to the end. Please consider helping him find that forever home he so greatly deserves.
