Dog rescued after nearly being starved to death encounters more trouble

Emily, the emaciated chow mix who was rescued from the Miami-Dade Animal Services Facility in Miami, Fla., continues to struggle.

Please keep Emily in your thoughts - she underwent major surgery to remove a large tumor from her stomach today. She had quite a bit of blood loss, but made it through and is recovering.
