We've all seen the pictures on television of sad-faced puppies and crying kittens and heard the heartbreaking music accompanying the pleas to donate to help them. We've all felt the tears welling up in our own eyes wishing we could do more to help them all. Thankfully for those large organizations, those pleas work and they are able to help so many deserving dogs and cats in need. Unfortunately for us, we're NOT a large organization, and for us, raising the funds we need is a good deal more difficult. The dogs and cats don't know the difference though. They only know that when they come to us with something wrong, we do everything we can to make it better. We feel like we're always begging for funds and it's not something we're proud of, but when we see the faces of these sweet innocents who find themselves in need, our pride goes right out the window. We will gladly get down on our knees and grovel for pennies because every one DOES make a difference! A dollar won't even buy a gallon of milk of gas these days, but when a lot of you give even just one or two to these babies, it adds up quickly. Giving up one candy bar or one specialty coffee for the week could be the difference in the funds needed to help one of the most needy. Please, please consider even a small amount. It can go farther than you ever imagined in their eyes and ours!
